The LABTECH 2008 special session “Future Laboratory Challenges to Meet Global Demands for Quality Testing” recognizes that there are great deal of global attention and demands toward the quality testing. This is due to the stringent products’ specifications and environmental regulations imposed by Labs’ customers. Hence, the world-wide Laboratories are continuously developing to cope with this global demand. Closer attention and significant investments are paid by Laboratories to provide quality analytical data. In particular, the focus is on applying the latest technologies and advancements in the area of staff development, testing procedures, and equipments.

The session will look at the latest technology advances in Laboratories staff development, procedures, and equipments.

The GCC region with its abundant reserves of crude oil and increasing investment in refining capacity will enhance the role of the Middle East as a global supplier to the chemical industry. The strong opportunities for refinery integration with petrochemical facilities call for the creation of strategic investments in laboratories developments to provide quality analytical data to these huge projects.

Bringing together invited speakers from leading global technology companies, the session will provide insights into the interdependence of laboratory developments and its relationship to the emerging high-demand global market for quality testing.

The special session will address the following topics of interest:-

  •  “Lab Management in Laboratory Technology”

  •  “Solving complex product quality manufacturing issues”

  •  “Identification the standards of laboratories for better performance”

  • “Technology Transfer in Laboratory Technology”

  • “laboratory developments to the emerging high-demand global market for quality    testing”

A panel discussion will follow the session where all speakers will participate in addressing questions from the audience and the Future Challenges on Opportunities for labs in the growing industry.
