The Saudi Aramco Refining Laboratory Best Practices Team in cooperation with the Saudi Arabian International Chemical Sciences Chapter of the American Chemical Society and the Bahrain Society of Chemists are pleased to announce the 2st International Laboratory Technology Conference & Exhibition (LABTECH 2011). The conference will be held Under The Patronage of H.E. Dr. Abdul Hussain Bin Ali Mirza, The Minister of Oil & Gas Affairs and Chairman of Oil & Gas Authority in Kingdom of Bahrain . The Conference and Exhibition theme is “Advanced Technology Solutions for Laboratory Management“. The conference brings together regional, national and international experts in all aspects of laboratory operation, including staff development, quality management, health, safety and the environment. The conference aims to provide an opportunity for all delegates to interface with subject matter experts from testing laboratories, supporting gas, oil, petrochemical, and water industries in addition to meeting with scientists, engineers, academics and technologists from all over the world. The conference provides a forum for issues involving the laboratory management and adopts a structured approach towards solving the increasingly complex product quality manufacturing issues faced by refiners today. Discussion will include identification the standards that can help a laboratory improve its performance and new areas for future cooperation and technology transfer. An exhibition, held alongside the conference, will involve leading companies showcasing the latest state-of-the-art instruments for testing crude and refined products.
